Mais 12 is a zine that explores the past, present, and future of Lisbon through the diverse perspectives of twelve individuals. We seek to examine the city’s economic and cultural transformations over the last twelve years and imagine what the next twelve might bring.
Our project features intimate interviews with a diverse group of people, ranging from different ages, genders, sexual orientations, races, economic statuses, and points of view. We will discuss topics such as the effect of Airbnb on the economy, gentrification, globalization, cultural identity, queer issues and racism, music and food.

We believe that photography and art can help us tell stories in a powerful and engaging way, and we want to collaborate with creatives who are passionate about visual storytelling and are willing to contribute their time and talent to help us bring these stories to life.
